Task Description
Carry out international transit of batteries (dangerous goods Class 8, UN 2794), as well as engines for Caterpillar equipment from Singapore and Japan to Mongolia through port Vladivostok.
Distinctive Features of the Cargo
Batteries are classified as dangerous goods and require mandatory “Dangerous goods” labeling of containers for transportation by railroad.
Project Implementation
Among our clients there are foreign companies, including official dealers of well-known brands, who organize the supply of imported equipment. An example of such a delivery was the shipment of a consignment of containers with batteries and engines intended for Caterpillar equipment from Singapore through the port of Vladivostok to Mongolia. In Vladivostok, we made dangerous goods signs; containers with cargo were marked in the port before further shipment. Within 5 days, SMGS (Agreement on International Goods Transport by Rail) waybills and international transit to Tolgoit station were arranged, moreover, after departure from Vladivostok the cargo was delivered to the consignee in Mongolia in a two-week period.
Successfully carried out transportation showed the high professionalism of the company’s employees, manifested at all its stages, and also revealed the possibility for us to organize the transportation of such goods in these directions in the shortest possible time.
